Big Brother 17

Hello and Welcome to another season of Big Brother recaps and insights.

This season they are doing twists GALORE.  I am not a fan of so many twists, I think it takes away from the game play.  So far, they have brought Battle of the Block from last season and the Twins Twist from season 5.  I wonder which other twists they will bring back.  Sometimes I think these twists are too much and only take away from my favorite part of the game-the planning and scheming.

I joined a pool with 3 other people and we had a draft to see which BB players would be on our teams.  My team consists of Vanessa, DaVonne Steve and Jace.  I went ecclectic.  Lynn has the 2 Amazing Race goobers and Jason and Meg.  Marc has Audrey, Liz, John, James he went with whom he thought was undraftable or would be total disasters in the house.  Jeff has Austin, Becky Shelli and Clay.  The goal is of course to have two of your team in the final two so mo matter who wins it is your team.  So far in all of my years of the draft, no one has had the final two and there have even been seasons with such a terrible cast that we all quit and no one cared who was on which team.  I am not so sure about my team.  I picked Jace because at the time I was able to draft he was the last alpha-ish male left and you need at least one of those on your team.  I like Da'vonne, Vanessa, Meg and Steve a lot.  Do I think they can win?  I doubt it but I think they will make for a fun summer to watch.

The show began in traditional fashion with some members going in first and others going in later.  The first group in was Audrey who announced she is the first transgender person cast, Clay, Shelli, James, Jace, Davonne, and Austin.  The house guests all ran into the house screaming like banshees as always.  Really? Try something new once in a while.  They introduced themselves, toasted to a good summer and then Julie came on the television to tell them about their summer and the Battle of the Block twist.  Next came the HoH comp.  They had one house guest stay out of the comp.  Davonne volunteered as long as they promised that they would not put her up.This time the guests were standing on a platform that shook and leaned forward and got shorter.  They had to stand on the moving platform while having nerf tomatoes shot at them.  Whomever caught the most tomatoes without falling won.  James was the winner with Jace as a close second.  They also had one house guest stay out of the comp.  Davonne volunteered as long as they promised that they would not put her up.

The second group to go in was Becky, Vanessa, Liz, Meg, Jason, John, and Steve. They went in and almost immediately they had the HOH.  Again, as with the night before they had someone sit out and Vanessa sat out with the same promise of no nomination that Davonne had.  Interesting side note here: Davonne is a poker dealer and Vanessa is a professional poker player-interesting.  Then Phil from the Amazing race comes on and announces that an Amazing Race couple will be joining the cast-enter Jeff and Jackie.  The comp was the guests on a pole and they had a harness trying to pull them up and back off of the pole.  Good to his word, Jason who said he would hold on forever was the last pulled off of the pole and won the second HOH.

OF COURSE this all took place last week and we know who the noms are and who won the Battle of the Block and also who won the veto.  The Nominees were Jackie and Steve put up by James and Becky and John by Jason.  Battle of the Block was won by Becky and John.  Vanessa and Da'Vonne were given the reward by Phil of not being able to be nominated and they were each able to bring another on their reward.  Da'Vonne took Liz and Vanessa took Austin.  One just needs to read Joker's Updates or some other site or get the Live Feeds for more current info.  There will not be a lot of feeds recap as many folks do not read or watch events between episodes.  I have to say from what I have seen there has been a lot of game play early and I am surprised by it.  At least I do not think we will have a season of "what the house wants"  THANK GOD!  I am already tired of the Austin and Jace bromance.  UGG  Dude, enough with the bro-code already.  I can only imagine how annoying this is to the people in the house.  More to come on Wednesday when the new episode airs.  Who are your favorites and who do you think will win?

Game of Thrones S5 Finale

Uggg, even before the episode I am nervous.  UGGGGGGGGGG This is the end and there is so much story to tell.  Predictions: Something has to be resolved for Cersei, Dany has to get ready to move on Westeros, Jamie needs to leave Dorne, Sansa somehow takes a stand on the Boltons, and Arya shows how much of a badass she really is.  These are my predictions there are 4 minutes left until the episode begins. AHHHHHH

Credits, Seems like everyone is going to be in this episode....YAAAAAAYYYY
Fucking Melisandre I hope there is a special place in hell for her.  YAY Half of the men deserted Stannis right after he burned his own daughter at the stake.  WOO HOO!  WOO HOO I told you so!!!!!!!  He sees his wife, Selyse, hung herself in the woods.  Then we hear Melisandre took a horse and rode off into the woods.  Stannis decides he and what is left of his army (about a quarter of what left Castle Black) will still march on Winterfell.  Without so many of their men, they get slaughtered.  While waiting in the forrest above Winterfell, Brienne comes upon an injured Stannis.  Stannis is still alive in the wood and Brienne asks him if he killed Renley with blood magic.  Stannis acknowledges that he did did kill his brother and Brienne says it is her duty to put him to the death.  We see her swing the sword but then there is a cut scene.  We do not know for sure if she did it or not. WOOO FRACKING HOOOOO!!!!!!!

Now there are theories all over the place in if Stannis is alive or if he is dead.  I can see both sides.  Brienne LOVED Renley so killing Stannis would be justice and even a bit of vengeance.  BUT, Brienne is loyal to Catelyn and trying to protect Sansa.  Stannis is a good military tactician and is enemy of the Boltons who currently hold Sansa hostage.  The enemy of my enemy is my friend.  There have been moments of great forethought on the part of Brienne but mostly she is a woman of action not thought.  Since her story differs GREATLY from the books, I am not sure where they are taking her.

Jon and Sam are talking and Sam asks to go to Old Town to become a Maester.  Jon reluctantly agrees to let him go and train.  We see Sam, Gilly and Baby Sam leave for Old Town.

Sansa uses the corkscrew (?) to pick her lock.  She sneaks across the yard to the broken tower where she lights the candle for Brienne.  At this time Brienne is watching the Boltons march upon Stannis.  Sansa sees this from the tower and decides it is time for her escape.  She is stopped by Ramsay's girlfriend, Myranda and Reek.  Myranda tries to torment Sansa.  Sansa for once stands her ground and says if she is going to die she would rather die while there is still some of her left.  WOO HOO Sansa.  Myranda torments her more and then sees Ramsay come back.  Reek picks up Myranda and throws her over the rampart.  SPLAT.  Her brains are leaking everywhere.

~~~~~~~~~~~ SIDENOTE- see, you see Myranda die, you see her brains splattered everywhere.  Dead, she is DEAD.  Now there is still question over several other people in this story as you do not actually see them dead.  Just think about it, The Hound, The Mountain, Stannis just to name a few. ~~~~~~~~~~~
Theon then grabs Sansa's hand and they go running.  They decide to jump off of the side of the castle-into a snow drift - I hope- and that is the end of Theon and Sansa.
We go back to the brothel in Bravos where Meryn Trant is beating three young girls with a switch.  The first two let out a wail and the third does not make a sound.  He beats the third one a couple of times and then dismisses the other two.  The third one then takes out a small knife and stabs him repeatedly.  She takes off her face and it is Arya.  She goes on stabbing him in the eyes, belly, back and face before disclosing who she is.  She then slits his throat.  WOO HOO.  This is the first person on her list that she has actually killed herself.  There have been others that have died at the hands of others (Joffrey) and there are those that are questionably dead (the Hound).  WTG ARYA!  Arya then returns the face to the House of Black and White and is met by the other girl who helps her wash bodies and Jaqen H'ghar who tell her she has stolen a death from the many faced god and then Jaqen drinks poison.  Arya freaks and cries and the girl asks her why she cries and Arya tells her that Jaqen was her friend and the girl laughs and her face changes into Jaqen.  Arya then rips the faces off of the corpse until she comes across her own.  Jaqen tells her since she was not ready, the face she took from the many faced god is poison to her.  Arya then states she can not see and shows her eyes go to all white.  AHHHHHHH!
We are off to Dorne.  Jamie and Myrcella are setting off on their journey to King's Landing.  They have a departing posse of Prince Doran, Ellaria and the Sand Snakes.  Ellaria kisses Myrcella on the lips and tells Myrcella she hopes Myrcella has a long and happy life.  We get on the boat and Jamie awkwardly tries to tell Myrcella that he loves her and that he is her father.  Myrcella tells Jamie that she knows Jamie is her father and that she is glad.  AWWWW something happy in the final episode.  NOT! Myrcella then gets a nosebleed and faints.  Ellaria and the Snakes are on the dock and Ellaria gets a nosebleed and then wipes her nose and then her lipstick off and takes the antidote bead off of her necklace and drinks it.  Meanwhile the ship is out to sea.  HA HA HA this is how Joffrey died too.  WTG Cersei, get both of your kids killed by the same poison.  LOLOLOL
Is Myrcella dead?  Will they find the antidote? Hmmmmmmmm... I have to say this, Poor Jamie.  He has had nothing but a pain in the ass since Cersei decided to kill Robert.  Hell maybe since he threw Bran out of a window.  Because Ned told Cersei he knew about the childrens' parentage, Cersei sent Jamie after Ned and then had to go to war-he got captured-was set free by Catelyn-was behanded-made it back to King's Landing where his beloved (Cersei) wanted nothing to do with him and sent him away-see nothing but one giant pain in the ass.
Meereen.  Grey worm and Missandei are on the move and come into the throne room (?) where Tyrion, Jorah, and Daario Naharis are.  They discuss what to do with the missing Dany and with Jorah, whom she exiled.  It is decided after much insult and argument that Jorah and Daario will leave to go find Dany.  Tyrion, Missandei and Grey Worm will stay to try and fix the problems in Meereen.  Since Missandei is Dany's confidant and Grey Worm is one of the people, they will help Tyrion be recognized by the people.  Tyrion will of course be the brains of the operation.  After the discussion Tyrion makes it out to the balcony where he is found by Varys.  YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY it is so good to have them back together.
Daenerys is on a mountain top with Drogon.  Drogon seems to have made a nest of bones for himself.  Dany is asking him if he is hurt and how far he took her.  She tries to climb onto Drogon's back to take her home to Meereen. Drogon promptly bucks her off.  I think he is still injured and tired from the battle.  Let him rest awhile.  She decides to wander down the mountain to the green hills.  DURRH why wander that far from your dragon?  She then hears a horse.  Suddenly she is surrounded by Dothraki.  She sees them coming and drops her ring to the ground.  Significant?  I assume so as they showed it.  AHHH HA I got it!  Drogon took her north to the great plains called the Dothraki Sea.  Dany kept telling Drogon he needed to take her home-to him, he was born from the burning of a Khal of the Dothraki in the Dothraki desert so this might be what he sees as home.  Well, we shall see what happens.
Cersei, Cersei, Cersei. Na Nah Nee Boo Boo.  You look like poo poo.  Cersei confesses to the High Sparrow that she slept with Lancell but denies she slept with Jamie.  She tries to blame it on Robert and the Sparrow will have none of it.  HA! The Sparrow tells her she will need to be put on trial.    He tells her she can return to the Red Keep after her atonement.  The maids cut off all of her hair and bathe her.  They take her outside and take her dress off and make her walk the long walk to the Red Keep to see Tommen.  During her walk you see lots of naked folks mocking her and calling her names.  The people of King's Landing do not really like her as they were throwing all sorts of things at her and screaming all forms of vulgarity.  Rather nice.  Finally Cersei makes it to the Red Keep to be greeted by Qyburn who brings her a cloak and introduces her to the newest member of the King's Guard who is a zillion feet tall.  The new guard has a very purple face and has taken a vow of silence.  Frankenstein's Mountain anyone?  Qyburn fixed-ish Gregor Clegane.  Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.  Honestly, letting Cersei go back to her seat of power was a mistake on the part of the High Sparrow.  From here, Cersei has her friends and those that are loyal-ish to her.  If she wanted, Cersei could flee King's Landing or find ways to be a bigger pain in the ass.  Who knows what she will do.  I am glad that she got humiliated though.  Still, this was NOT enough to pay for all of her misgivings.  Was this even enough punishment for killing Robert?  I think not.  Certainly it is not even close to enough for what she (and Joffrey) did to Ned and the rest of the Starks.
The end has come.  Melisandre comes to Castle Black where Davos is trying to persuade Jon Snow to send the Wildlings to fight with Stannis.  Jon says no.  Davos confronts Melisandre who looks very morose and she says nothing.  Jon is in his office when Olly comes running in telling him that a Wildling has recently seen Benjen Stark and Benjen is still alive.  Jon of course follows him outside to see.  He is greeted my Allister Thorne.  They take Jon to a sign labeled Traitor.  There are a group of 7 or so watchmen and they all stab Jon.  Olly is the last.  What a fucking pissant.  I can not wait until the white walkers eat your sorry ass piece of shit.  I hope the giant tears Allister Throrne limb from limb-VERY SLOWLY or even does the Ramsay Bolton-Reek thing with him.  Meanwhile Jon is laying in the snow bleeding out.
Recap:  HOLY SHIT THAT WAS AWESOME!!! I can not believe it is over.  HOLY COW.......more, I need more.
Jon Snow... is he dead?   I think not.  Why else would have Melisandre come to Castle Black?  Certainly not for Davos, she knows he hates her.  Melisandre is not the only lover of the Lord of Light.  We have seen others bring people back from the dead.  Why not Jon?  Also, where the hell is Ghost?  I am sure Jon will be fine.  I am truly not worried at all.  Besides, if Bran can Warg, why not Jon?  Just sayin.
Sansa, did she and Theon survive the jump?  Hell, who knows, I would hope so but so far this is a giant story of "Shit on anyone named Stark" so it would not surprise me if they did not survive.
 Myrcella-I think she is going to die....need to keep Dorne relevant and HOPEFULLY piss of Jamie enough that he will take it out on Cersei. Besides, King's Landing at war with Dorne, WOO HOO.  More people against Cersei, the better.
Cersei, who really knows?  I hope she gets dysentery from all of the glack thrown at her.  I hope she dies a slow painful death, will that happen?  Hell no it will not.  I can not wait to see if there is more shit thrown at her though.  Metaphorically or not.
Dany- I think she is going to become friends with the new Dothraki and make a home, albeit temporary, in the Dothraki Sea.  I think Tyrion, Varys, Missandei, and Grey Worm will start rounding up  the Sons of the Harpy and send them to King's Landing HA HA HA.  Probably not, but I think they will bring a bit of order to Meereen before they leave.
Arya, I think she is going to get her sight back and be a big badass.  I hope she continues her training and finds her own ways to right the wrongs done to her and her family.
As for my predictions, I got 4 out of the 5 right, not too shabby.
OHHHH Season 5, you were a bit slow in the beginning.  I know the pieces had to move around the chessboard and all, I get it.  You have been great to us and I can not wait to see you again in 10 months.
The Goonies
HOLY BANANAS this is the 30 year anniversary of one of my favorite movies of all time.  The Goonies.  Where did the time go?  Holy shit, did I get old??  What happened to when I was this age?  Back in the day I LOVED the Goonies.  Hell, I still do.  This was the first movie I saw in the theater that really changed my life.  I was introduced to the word shit by people in my age range and to this day it is a staple in my vocabulary.  This movie truly changed my life at that time and helped make me who I am today.
The Goonies premiered in June of 1985.  This was the summer of heaven.  I spent every dollar I had on going to the movie.  I honestly (with no exaggeration) think I saw this movie in the theater at least 15 times.  I begged, groveled, did extra chores, everything I could think of to get extra money so I could go again.   I honestly do not think I saw this movie in the theater enough.
 Mouth was my first movie crush.  I was in love.  I wanted to marry him and have his babies.  Mouth was cute and snarky.  The entire cast was perfect.  Everyone involved with this movie was perfect.  I love every one. Other than Mouth, my favorite Goonie was Chunk.   He was the nerdy kid.  In my group I was the chubby and nerdy kid.  I could relate to these characters,  They grew up without a lot of money and their houses were about to be foreclosed upon.  While my family was not in that dire circumstance, I could relate.  I knew what it felt like to be a kid and to have the desire to make a difference, to go on an adventure and to accomplish something.  To this day, I know all of the lines and scenes.  Hell, who does not know about the truffle shuffle?  It is a commonly known thing.  WOO HOO Chunk.
The Goonies was the first movie I saw with kids that was not some Disney goody-two-shoes movie.  There was swearing, kissing and stress.  This was an adventure movie that was entirely kid based.  The adults were minimal and therefore no bossing kids around.  This was liberation, freedom from the restraints of childhood.  The hope that maybe we can make a difference, no matter how old we were.
The total awesomeness of this movie is too great to mention everything.  While timeless, it is the quintessential 80's you can do it movie.
God, I love The Goonies.
Game of Thrones Recap S5-E9
The episode begins with Melisandre-The Red Witch and ohhh she is not a true servant of the lord of light as she says she is.  The camp she is staying in suddenly catches fire.  Ramsay's men rode into their camp and lit fire to the food and stores of the army of Stanis.  Stanis and Davos have a discussion and well....humm it seems like Stanis is thinking about the Red Priestesses proposal about Shireen.  Stanis sends Davos to the wall with a message stating Stanis needs more food and horses.  Davos tries to stay by his side but Stanis will have none of it.  Davos then goes to Shireen and gives her a hand carved wooden stag and thanks her for teaching him to read.  Davos promises to bring a doe so the stag will have company.
After a brief conversation with Shireen, Stanis fucks up big time.  Hells bells.  Stanis burns Shireen at the stake.  What an asshole.  People are going to hear about this and think he is fucking crazy and he is next on some peoples shit list.  People should not follow him.  The only redeeming thing that happened is that Shireen's cray cray mom Celise tried-although feebly-to stop it.  Too little too late, Bitch.  I can not wait until Davos hears about this.  I am 100% sure he is not going to stand by idly.  Perhaps he will join up with the watch since Stanis sent him to the wall. I know and I am sure Davos will know too, that Stanis sent him away so that Davos was not there to try and stop this and save Shireen.  FUCKING STANIS!
Jon returns to the wall with all of the wildlings and for a moment I think there is a time when Alliser Thorne, current highest rank at Castle Black delays opening the gate making us think that he will not.  In the end, he opens up and tells Jon he has a good heart and it will get them all killed.
Jamie is welcomed as a guest by Prince Doran of Dorne.  Doran does not want war with King's Landing and even toasts Tommen.  Jamie tells him of the threat on Myrcella's life and Myrcella tells him that her necklace was stolen from her room.  He agrees to send her and Prince Trystane to King's Landing as long as the Prince is on the small council.  Jamie agrees.  Bron is set free.  Ellaria-lover of the deceased Prince Oberyn and mother of the Sand Snakes is openly disdainful of the plan to send Myrcella, Jamie, and Trystane to King's Landing.  When in private Doran tells her he believes in second chances but not third.   She either shows him allegiance or dies.  She sobs as she kisses his ring.  This happens in front of the Sand Snakes.  Ellaria then has a conversation with Jamie letting him know she knows his love for Cersei. She talks of love and how times change rules.  The only thing that is the does not change is that we love who we love.  She also tells him she knows Myrcella is innocent of what happened to Oberyn and perhaps Jamie is as well.
Mase Tyrell is now in Bravos.  He is the envoy from King's Landing to the Iron Bank.  Mase is a bit dense and is making a complete of a fool of himself.  It is kind of embarrassing, really.   This is when Arya sees Ser Meryn Trant, a man who betrayed her father in King's Landing and is on her list of to kill.
Arya was sent out by Jaqen to kill the thin man from last episode and she is on her way to do so when she sees Meryn Trant.  Instead of killing the thin man, she follows Meryn Trant and watches him go into a brothel.  She listens to him bash the Tyrells and how they wanted to put Renly on the throne.  Sicko that he is, Meryn Trant wants a prepubescent girl and then once he is done with her he will want another for tomorrow.  Sicko.  I think Maryn either recognizes Arya or, he thinks she is the right age for what he wants.  Arya returns to Jaqen and tells him the thin man was not hungry and therefore she could no poison him.  She will try again tomorrow.  HMMM I hope she gets the chance to kill Trant.  At least she can do one on her list.  I doubt it will happen but I hope it does.
Daenerys is now witness to the fighting pits.  She is not thrilled about it but she is there none the less.  She is there with Daario Naharis, Hizdahr zo Loraq-her betrothed-Tyrion and Missandei.  Jorah is there fighting in the pits and when he wins his duel he throws a spear into the tent where Dany is.  He kills one of the Sons of the Harpy.  There are simply hundreds of them.  They are killing the people in the stands and are trying to get to  Dany.  Hizdahr is stabbed in the fighting, status unknown.  The rest of the party is surrounded until Drogon comes and makes a BBQ of the Harpy.  They are throwing spears at him.  It is at that time that Dany looks into his eyes, rubs his snout and decides to climb on an they fly off.  You see her party staring at them in air in total awe.  END OF EPISODE.
Previews for next week:
Dany's entourage sitting on the steps of Meereen.
Cersei crying.
Sansa saying if she is going to die she is going to do it while there is some of her left.
Jon at the wall making a heavy decision.
Melisandre stating the Lord of Light has delivered on his promise and Stanis stating the siege will begin at sunrise.
Arya talking to the faces in the House of Black and White repeating: you are no one.
Brienne and Pod looking like they are about to lay siege to Winterfell.
Ser Meryn Trant is a sicko.
Stanis is a crazy piece of shit who thinks being King (of which he is not the rightful heir) is more important than his own daughter.
Jon and those at the wall are a force to be reckoned with.  Dany and Drogon are hell on wheels.
There is too much story left to wait another 9 months!
Lost Girl Season
Urban dictionary has jumping the shark defined as:
When your favorite show starts to flag and go downhill, as when Fonzie jumped the shark on water skis. We all knew that Happy Days was on its way down then.
When Rudy (Cosby show) hit puberty, and they added that new little girl that was Denise's step-daughter, that show DEFINITELY jumped the shark.
Unfortunately this has happened to one of my favorite shows. Lost Girl. This is a Canadian show that is in the fifth season and is available for watching on SyFy.    The story is about a community of Fey in all of their variations.   In this world, Fey not only exist but thrive.  All of the Fey are born with special characteristics.  For example Bo is a Succubus, Dyson is a Changer and Hale is a Siren.  The end of season 4 brought the death of a popular character and Bo's sidekick, Kenzie.  Kenzie was a the lone human in this non human world.  Since Kenzie was so popular, I knew this could not be the end of her story.
The beginning of this season was all about saving Kenzie from the grips of the Valkyrie in Valhalla.   Once she was rescued, she then left the show.  WTH?!?!?!?  Kenzie was the lone light in this dark world.  With Kenzie gone, there is no joy and no humor.  Since there is no comedic element in the show without her, they introduced someone new.
The powers have be decided to introduce Mark, a previously unknown offspring of Dyson.  Mark is a dick.  He is not funny, he is selfish, arrogant and treats people poorly.  How is he supposed to replace Kenzie?  Why are you now in the middle of season 5-the last season-adding a new main-ish character?  I think the show could have taken a more dramatic tone to the season and left this douche out.  Yes, Kenzie would be missed but damn they messed up with Mark.  Seriously this is about as bad as cousin Oliver on the Brady Bunch.  Why'd you do it?  Why'd you do it?  I love this show and now with all of the douchiness it is almost hard to watch.  Please get rid of this character and bring back Kenzie!
Why I dropped Loot Crate
I so love the idea of LootCrate.  I asked for a subscription for Christmas.  I was so excited to get it.  My first box was the December box.  While not all of it was to my taste, I was so happy I did not care.  I have received the boxes every month since.  Seven boxes in total.  The cost is around $20.00 per month plus shipping.  The only box that I thought came close to being remotely worth the $20.00 was the box from last month.  I received a Dungeons and Dragons tee shirt, a Platform 9 3/4 Luggage tag, a House Stark Flash Drive, some Game of Thrones magnets.  Pretty cool all in all.  This month I received an Avengers car decal, shoelaces and ice tray, a cheap puzzle, a Power Rangers tee shirt, a couple of comics and a set of buttons.  UGGGGG REALLY?
This box was not the first box I received that looked like a conglomeration of things that were Spencer's or Hot Topic rejects.  I get that everyone has such different tastes but sheesh.  I liked 1 in 7, pretty terrible if you ask me.  I have seen other boxes and the contents were all so cool I wanted to join in.  Out of all of the boxes I have received, I think I would have purchased maybe 6 items on my own and I doubt the cost would have come to the over $140 spent.  Do not get me wrong, I love the surprise of it all, I do.  I just can not justify all of the cost for what little I am getting.  Maybe I joined a the wrong time or something but still it is such a damn bummer.  Finally, I have given up and cancelled.  I wish LootCrate the best and left them a nice recommendation in my farewell survey, GET BETTER STUFF.
Game of Thrones Recap S5-E8
HOLY Crap that was a great episode.  I have to say this was the best episode so far this season.  WOWIE There is so much greatness.
Lets start with the bitch...Cersei.  YAY She is still in a cell and when one of her guards comes to bring her water.  Cersei curses the maid bringing it to her and tells her how she will kill her and other nonsense.  One time the guard/maid beats her with the water ladle.  The other time she spills the water on the floor and Cersei then tries to drink it off of the floor.  There is a look on her face like WTF.  This is great.  I hope there is the thought in her head of any of her actions that might have led up to her being in this situation.  She did say something to the effect that she put the Sparrow in place she is not going to bow to him.  I think she is thinking poor me these ingrates need to be punished.  I HIGHLY doubt that there is any thought of how she might have contributed to her circumstances..  YAY I am so happy that Cersei is in the shit.  No one deserves it more than she does.  I can not wait until it gets even worse.
ARYA YAYAYAYYAYAYAAYAYYY Arya is back.  Now we see a different phase of her training to be a Many Faced Man.  Her bit begins with her sitting with Jaqen and reciting a lie about her childhood.  When she makes a mistake Jaqen hits her on the back of the hand with a wooden dowel.  She then goes into Bravos as she tells the lie. We cut to her back with Jaqen and she is relaying her story of what happened in Bravos and understanding what she saw and heard.  WOO HOO!  WE NEED MORE ARYA!  I get that so far this season her story is a book behind. BUT GEEZE there could be more of her in each episode to catch us up.  I mean there are only two episodes left folks.  I think they will probably leave her story off where book four ends and ouch....people are gonna be pissed.
I have to interrupt with a personal bit here.  When I read book 1 and Ned lost his head I was PISSED.  I finished the book thinking that something would happen to the Lannisters to account for what they did to Ned.  Needless to say it did not come.  I refused to go forward in the books because I was so pissed off.  Occasionally I would check in with Wikipedia to see what was going on.  When I saw where Arya was heading, I was done.  I have not looked in years.  The show has been going on and I finally decided to sit down and watch the books and get past Ned.  I still have not forgiven what happened to Ned.   I get the reason for the tragedy and I have moved past the murder of a truly exceptional character.  I do feel like I am betraying his memory by reading/watching on without him.  Oh well.
Ok Back to the show.
Tyrion and Jorah finally have made it to Meereen and the Mother of Dragons.  Daenerys asks Tyrion if he is there to serve her and he states not "serve" he is there to advise.  Tyrion talks of Varys and how he was probably helping her to escape Westeros as an infant.  Tyrion trusts Varys and so should Daenerys.  Ultimately, she decides not to kill Tyrion and frees Jorah.
There is much here but we do have Reek tell her that he did not kill Bran and Rikon.  Yay for that at least.
The bulk of the episode was spent north of the wall.  This is where all of the awesomeness happens.  Jon is off to talk to the wildlings.  He and Tormond (his wildling partner) try to convince the wildlings to join in the fight.  One of the wildlings tells them to basically go to hell and Tormond beats the shit out of him....WOO HOO.  Both Tormond and Jon talk to the elders of the various clans and try to convince them to join forces and go south of the wall.  Jon shows the DragonGlass.  Some were on board and some were not.  Those who want to go south and realize they are toast if they wait are starting to get on boats and head out.  You hear a thunderous cloud roll in and it turns out that it is the undead coming down from the mountain.  WOW there were a zillion of them.  The free folk and The Knight's Watch that accompanied Jon fought them valiantly.  Cut cut the to the top of the mountain an there is the King of the White Walkers.  He sure did look creepy and cool.  This scene had a ginormous giant and lots of really cool corpses doing battle.  Honestly there have not been that many scenes with the dead and these were so cool.  If the Walking Dead were not over, I think they should take a look at these zombies because they were hella creepy.  After much death and battle with the remaining free folk and Watch Jon and a few remainders get in a boat and head out to sea.   The king of the walkers comes down off of the mountain and slowly raises his arms and all of the dead rise and look out at the ocean and the ships.  That is how the episode ends, with all of the people that did not make it to the ships arisen and now looking out at the survivors of battle.
There are tens of thousands of corpses looking out of that bay to the ships in the harbor.  WOW This was sooooooo cool.  Creepy but cool.  WOW. I mean WOW.  There was so much going on in this episode.  What am I not excited for?  LOL I am already nervous that there are only two episodes left.
